Laurie TerhuneQualifications and Background

I have been in the health and wellness field for over 25 years. I’ve had the good fortune to work throughout the United States and abroad training and counseling individuals to live purposeful joy filled lives. I specialize in helping individuals navigate through issues related to stress, anxiety, depression and life transitions using strength assessment and solution based therapy. I also so specialize in pre-marital counseling and marital conflict resolution working together to build healthy and happy relationships.

I work from the perspective that all aspects of mind-body and spirit are equally important and will co-develop treatment plans addressing those needs.

For the past twelve years, Laurie has been a contractor providing brief counseling and consulting services to the Department of Defense statewide and abroad. She also participated in numerous workshops regarding deployment and reintegration as well as other health and wellness issues to military members and their families. Laurie has also participated in On-Demand and Summer Camp assignments throughout Minnesota for the Army National Guards, Air National Guards, Navy Reserves and Air Force Reserves.
